About Personal Trainer Tammy Williams Fitness

‚ÄčTammy has over 20 years of professional experience in the fitness industry. She began her career teaching group fitness classes in New York City, and quickly built a strong following, which led to the launch of TW Fitness. Tammy’s workouts incorporate a variety of techniques, including Pilates, barre, yoga, HIIT, boot camp and traditional weight-based training. She first studied Pilates at the Kane School of Core Integration, later becoming a PMA-Approved Pilates instructor at Moving Strength in NYC. Tammy holds a Personal Trainer certification with the American Council on Exercise, she is a Senior Fitness Specialist certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and she is TRX-certified.

Tammy received her B.A. in Dance from Hofstra University. Prior to her career as a personal trainer, she performed professionally throughout NYC and beyond. She was a member of Turner Dance and Geulah Abrahams Danceworks based in New York City. She also performed in regional theater productions of Damn Yankees, 42nd Street and The World Goes ‘Round.

Informed by her background in both the fitness industry and dance world, Tammy provides each client the training and guidance to grow in STRENGTH, GRACE and CONFIDENCE in body and in mind.
